It is a marvelous thing to see children grow into maturity - to be present as a young one is transformed from a caterpillar into a lovely butterfly...

I have been witness to such with Arete, my niece's daughter, all the way from her parents' wedding, through her birth, her learning to walk & talk, her shyness & gangling posture as a teenager, & most recently as she has become a beautiful young woman. To capture her on film, priceless... Oh, I also was able to catch her younger sister, Tarn - cute, precocious, & full of unbridled energy - this too was priceless...
