#10105: Columbia Icefields between Banff and Jackson in the second week of May, and it's icy and cold - Lake Louise, usually an emerald green that takes your breath away according to reports was totally frozen over, so we got only a glimpse of its white encrusted surface - Oz was nowhere to be seen, but we did see the impressive icefields... 
Morro Rock and Friends... - a commissioned photo, this - it is a place dear to the hearts of my extended family, who have reunited annually for the past 40 some years at Morro Bay State Park near San Luis Obispo...  #10156: During a wonderful photo workshop to Santa Fe, Taos, and Ghost Ranch, I discovered this little historical landmark of a house on Canyon Road in Santa Fe - the woman owner was gracious enough to allow me to photograph her home, and I came away with this wonderful shot I call Santa Fe Lace... 
#10151a: Along the less-travelled though picturesque road between Santa Fe and Taos is the Sanctuario de Chimayo, a holy place visited by thousands of pilgrims each year - nearby is a little shop selling chilis, and I couldn't resist taking this one with me... |
