| I am comfortable working with either color or black and white with any ceremony. Each has its distinctive feeling tone, and each its particular look about it. Given a choice I would select black and white for its overall qualities. First I love the classic feel about a black and white photograph. And, because color is absent as a distraction or highlight, you are drawn to the individual with her or his particular personality. There is something very powerful in being drawn to the person and not specific hues or pigmentation... |

Having said that, here are the color selections from the same wedding. I still appreciate what color does for the individual - while not classic in the same sense as a black and white photograph, the power of a color photograph rests in its approach to what you remember from the occasion... |
