South Lake Tahoe was the backdrop for this picturesque early fall wedding. The setting was perfect, and the weather cooperated except for a rather brisk wind coming off the lake that played havoc with the bride's veil during the ceremony. The bride and groom were wholly in love and had fun with the ceremony and reception, a sentiment we were able to capture on film, and a merry time was had by all. What more could one ask...?
I took some of the wedding photos in black and white hoping for that classic look. Because the wedding was outdoors and on the beach, it did not have the outer trappings of a traditional wedding in a sanctuary or cathedral. The shadings of black through grey to white, however, give the bride and groom a distinctive look, and perhaps a touch of the classic feel...
